# Is Lambda Stack free for use on non-LambdaLabs computers

Hi there,

It’s not quite clear what the terms of using Lambda Stack on computers not purchased from Lambda Labs. I have my personal Quad workstation from Lambda Labs so this questions hasn’t arisen for me before, but now I am asking on behalf of a startup I have joined. We have access to a bare-metal GPU server from a cloud compute partner (not Lambda Labs) and are considering Lambda Stack to use in Docker containers.

What is the policy in regard to this situation?

Anyone is free to use Lambda Stack.
