# Lambda Quad: No ethernet after force reboot

## post by rbkumar on May 25, 2020

Lost internet connection on the the Lambda Quad after a force reboot. Ethernet cable functioning (tested and working in my tensorbook):

Below are lspci, lshw, ethtool, journalctrl outputs.

BTW, Ethernet port on motherboard, no additional network cards.

Any suggestions?

Ravi

Just got off the phone with Gerome (Jerome?) @ Lambda Labs support.
He had me pop the cmos battery from the motherboard, powercycle for 30 secs and voila, the network cards are back to life!

Fantastic!
Thanks a bunch Gerome!

Here is the output showing the interfaces once again! **enp2s0f0 / enp2s0f1**
