# Server instance Jupyter 502 error

## post by nutheory on May 25, 2023

I get “502 Bad Gateway

Unable to reach the origin service. The service may be down or it may not be responding to traffic from cloudflared”, when trying to launch the instance IDE

Hi [@nutheory](https://deeptalk.lambda.ai/u/nutheory), I’m sorry to hear that.

It seems that some Cloudflare areas were partially down around the time you have reported this.

Please try again and feel free to submit us a ticket at [Lambda Support](/content/support/index.html) if this happens again.

Thank you,

Mike.
