Upgrades kept back

BTW I’m using both PyTorch and Tensorflow for from-scratch training as well as transfer learning on Ubuntu 22.04 LTS.

From a performance viewpoint I’m happy with the Tensorbook. Good enough to train smaller models. Build quality so-so, the screen fell out one day, but Duck tape always works.

I installed lambdastack on fresh Ubuntu 22.04 following the instructions here: Lambda Stack: an AI software stack that's always up-to-date I.e. I ran

wget -nv -O- https://lambdalabs.com/install-lambda-stack.sh | sh -
sudo reboot

After reboot python3 wasn’t able to import tensorflow or torch. So …
